For a lot of people, oatmeal is just a classic breakfast food. What they may not know is that oatmeal is a classic skin treatment, too! It can be used to treat dry skin and itching, as well as to reduce redness and protect the skin against UV rays and sun damage. It can also be used to treat sunburns! Here is how you can use oatmeal to cleanse your skin:oatmeal-close-up

Take a handful of oatmeal. Make a fist around it, and run your fist under lukewarm water for about 10 seconds. You

should feel the water seeping through your fingers and wetting the oatmeal. Then, open your fist and wet the oatmeal just a little bit more. Lean over the sink, and spend about a minute massaging the oatmeal onto your face. It can get a bit messy, so that is why you should lean over the sink. Rinse the oatmeal off with warm water and pat your face dry.

If you often have red, irritated skin, then this remedy is perfect for you! If you love having clear beautiful skin, I recommend this all natural treatment!

XOXO, Chels
