Hi everyone!  If you’re like me, then you LOVE food! I love all sorts of food from cookies and hot chocolate to chips, dip, and popcorn.  During the holiday season, fun treats and savory snacks are everywhere.  It’s the perfect opportunity to whip up your favorite dish or dessert.  Pinterest is an awesome place to find any recipe you can imagine.  I always find the perfect recipe to satisfy my craving.  Today, I’ll show you a few of my favorite sweet and salty holiday treats.  The recipes will be provided at the bottom of the page!

I’m sure many of you have heard of or have had puppy chow.  It is Chex cereal covered in chocolate, peanut butter, and powdered sugar.  It’s amazing!  Well, I’ve found a recipe that takes puppy chow to the next level.  It is red velvet puppy chow!  If you love red velvet cake then you will love this!  All you need is white chocolate chips, cream cheese, a box of red velvet cake mix, milk, and powdered sugar.  It’s a very simple recipe that can be set out as a quick sweet snack.  For full instructions check out the link below!

If you’re like me, then you love to eat the batter of chocolate chip cookies.  Whenever my mom is making cookies, I like to grab a bite of the dough.  Now, we all know this is bad for you, so here’s the perfect alternative, cookie dough bites!  It is an eggless cookie dough that you can enjoy without the worry.  All you need is 1 cup of melted salted butter, 1 ½ cups of brown sugar, 2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 6 ounces of mini chocolate chips.  Mix all of this together in a bowl and create little balls of cookie dough.  Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, drizzle with chocolate, and enjoy!

Now, I’ve got a quick and easy salty treat that can be enjoyed as a snack or the perfect side to a sandwich.  It is pepperoni chips!  They are a great alternative to chips and are for pepperoni and pizza lovers alike.  All you need is a bag of pepperoni.  Lay the pepperoni on a microwavable plate and microwave for about 60 seconds.  Now, the pepperoni should be nice and crispy.  Enjoy alone or with your favorite salad dressing.  I love to dip mine in ranch.  Finally, you’ve got the perfect chip with that pizza flavor that everyone loves!

I hope everyone enjoys my sweet and salty treats!  Don’t forget to check out my videos and click on the links below for the full recipes.  Love you all!
