How to Style a Plaid Shirt

Do you have a plaid shirt hiding in a dusty corner of your closet? Do you refrain from wearing it for fear that you will look like a lumber jack if you wear it? Well have no fear, I have a few ways that you can wear that adorable plaid without shame!
- One way to style a plaid shirt is to pair it with black skinny jeans, a brown belt, nude infinity scarf, brown riding boots,
and pearl earrings. This look is cute and casual and can be worn to school or out and about with friends!
- The second look pairs your plaid shirt with a navy vest, white skinny jeans, and tan booties. This look is a little dressier, but can still be worn just about anywhere! I love navy vests, so this outfit is one of my faves!
- Now for the dressier option. Wear your plaid button-up under a white cable knit scarf and a leather tulip skirt. If you live in an area where it gets really cold, just toss on a pair of black tights under the skirt to keep your legs nice and toasty! Who knew you could dress plaid up?!
See? You can proudly wear plaid this season! I know I will be.
